The FyreSTRAP is a retrofit head of wall service penetration system designed to prevent the spread of fire through small service penetrations that are located through the head tracks of plasterboard, or control joints above concrete and block walls, with industry-leading FRL’s of up to -/120/120 (system-specific).

FyreSTRAP is designed to easily treat the head of wall penetrations through tight spaces. The FyreSTRAP can be easily bent to fit around multiple services and then filled with FyrePEX HP Sealant to treat multiple penetrations. The system is simple to remove, adding in the flexibility to add additional services in the future if required.

In the event of a fire, the intumescent-based FyrePEX HP Sealant will expand and form a tight seal around cables and crush plastic conduits to prevent fire from spreading from one side of the wall to the other.
